Watch TV or talk to someone on the phone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Breathing Technique&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Breathe in real slowly for about 8-seconds and breathe out slowly for at least 14-seconds. Do this for at least 5-6 times. Using a paperbag helps a lot.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Unfortunately such techniques are, honestly speaking from my experience, &lt;u&gt;ineffective&lt;/u&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;You can always use these techniques but there's a 90% chance that you WILL STILL suffer a full-blown attack later.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Although there are &lt;a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://helpwithpanicattack.blogspot.com/"&gt;panic attack self-help&lt;/a&gt; guides and tips out there, they won't really help much. Believe me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Medications, on the other hand, are not recommended.
